On October 5 and 6, SNCF Réseau, TELT, and EIFFAGE-MT103 (Eiffage Group) organized open days at the Mont-Cenis Base Tunnel interconnection construction site in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne.

Setec Opency and its team, as the MT100 representative (a joint venture of Setec Opency, Eiffage GC, and Cougnaud), were proud to be present alongside them to welcome over 500 visitors at the common base to start the discovery journey. During these days, visitors could attend presentations on the TELT project as a whole, get their questions answered, and then visit the EIFFAGE MT103 construction site, which included:

  • The structures of the future international station (West): infrastructure work on the future international station, a European transport hub under construction.
  • The viaduct over the Arvan (West): the impressive construction of this viaduct, which will support 7 railway tracks, observing the assembly stages of the deck and the technical innovations used.
  • The retaining walls and earthworks (East): civil engineering works with retaining walls and earthworks that will support the railway platforms of the new line and the historic line, at a higher level than the current one.
