For the past 4 years, setec opency has been supporting the RATP in its ambitious “Bus 2025” project, aimed at eliminating diesel buses by 2025.

In charge of SCMC projects for the electrification of 5 bus centers in the Ile-de-France region (Ivry-sur-Seine, Saint-Denis Pleyel, Vitry-sur-Seine, Malakoff and Asnières-sur-Seine), setec opency has provided RATP with all its expertise in managing deadlines, from design studies through to acceptance of work. The main challenge for our engineers was to ensure the continued operation of these infrastructures, so that the buses could be stored and maintained on a daily basis while the work was in progress.

The program for this operation included: adapting the maintenance workshop and its equipment to the rolling stock, and reorganizing the storage area to install equipment for slow battery charging. The end of 2022 will mark the end of the electrification work at the Saint-Denis Pleyel bus center, to make way for the mass deployment of the new buses and their entry into service.
