Heading south to Marseille, where the future La Marina du Roucas Blanc water sports stadium is being built for the 2024 Olympic Games!
Since the end of 2021, setec opency and setec organisation have been working for the City of Marseille in collaboration with the Société de Livraison des Ouvrages Olympiques (SOLIDEO) on the redevelopment and modernization of the Roucas Blanc Marina. For this ambitious sports project, our time engineers are in charge of the SCMC Intersite mission and, in this capacity, plan and coordinate the interventions of the various players operating on the site.
The existing facility is being completely redeveloped to accommodate the Olympic sailing events, as well as water sports activities for the public and athletes from the Pôle France de voile. In practice, this means the construction of over 7,000 m² of new buildings and the reorganization of 17,000 m² of outdoor areas and the pool.
The project is not just about the Olympic Games, as the new center is part of the “Heritage & Sustainability” plan and will be reused by the people of Marseille.
