Funiflaine, rapid and ecological access to the Grand Massif, is a public cable transport project that will link the Arve Valley from Magland to the Flaine ski resort in less than 20 minutes.
The opening of the Funiflaine project will mark a new stage in the history of Flaine and its development. This unifying project will enable local political and economic players to boost the resort’s dynamism, attract a wider public and develop new tourist products while respecting the environment. Combined with the exceptional nature of the Grand Massif site, the teleport will enhance the resort’s appeal.
setec opency is working alongside POMA, as part of the Design-Build Group, to provide project management assistance and SCMC services during the design and construction phases. Good interface management and precise planning of work in the mountains are key factors in the project’s success.
The project is managed by the Syndicat mixte Funiflaine, whose financial backers include the Conseil départemental de la Haute-Savoie, the Communauté de Communes Cluses Arve et Montagnes, the Commune d’Arâches-la-Frasse and the Commune de Magland.
