Development of the Citadel in Ajaccio

Project

In 2018, the CAPA (Communauté d’Agglomération du Pays Ajaccien) initiated the redevelopment of the military site located in Ajaccio.

Originally built in the 1930s for refueling warships in case of a failure at the Toulon port, the site is now being repurposed with a threefold objective:

• Improve mobility and provide an alternative to car dependency through a park-and-ride facility.
• Introduce greenery into the city with the development of an urban park.
• Support the urban cable car project, which will connect the city center with the Mezzavia commercial zones through its new amenities.

Mission

setec opency has been assigned a consultancy role in Scheduling, Construction Management and Coordination (SCMC) and IC (Integrated Coordination) under the direction of MUTATIS. Their task involves analyzing production to advise on managing operational constraints, including site facilities, stock management, operational interfaces, and strategic consulting.
