Built in the 1980s, the Le Primat building is located in Lyon’s 3rd arrondissement. Currently occupied by offices, its central location in the heart of the Part-Dieu district and its connections to public transport and bicycle paths make it a property with great potential. Sogelym Dixence is looking to upgrade and modernize this 5,700m² complex, whose functionalities are now outdated. The works program includes:
- The creation of a wood-frame extension and the raising of a terrace level.
- Complete restoration of the facades.
- A complete redesign of the offices, from floor to ceiling.
- Landscaping and planting of every terrace in the building.
- The creation of a retail, coworking and catering space.
Through this redevelopment of the building, and particularly in terms of energy performance, Sogelym Dixence is aiming to obtain the BREEAM “Excellent” label and the WELL “Silver” label. Sogelym Dixence, with whom setec opency recently collaborated on the Urban Garden office project in Lyon, is renewing its confidence in us to bring this project to a successful conclusion in terms of deadlines, coordination of design and construction work, and general organization of the works with the implementation of Lean Construction tools. In addition to the SCMC mission, setec opency was entrusted with the management of the project’s prorata account.
The project owner’s overall schedule calls for completion by the end of 2023.
