The mission includes site planning and construction management, as well as the implementation of Lean methods and Visual Management to improve efficiency in the study, programming and design phases.
As France’s only UNESCO Creative City of Design, Saint-Étienne is strengthening its role as a driving force in the promotion of design through a new project spearheaded by Saint-Étienne Métropole: Cité du design 2025. The aim is to radically transform the Cité du design and make it part of a lively district, open to all. A new hub for leisure and culture, but also a truly intenational platform for economic innovation through design.
These objectives are reflected in an ambitious program of #works that will eventually see 150 startups set up in over 70,000 m² of space dedicated to design, the creation of a Galerie Nationale du design, and the opening of a new socio-cultural third-party space in the La Platine building. More open and pleasant, the district will also be much livelier, with the creation of recreational and playful spaces (a concept hotel, cafés, restaurants, shops, etc.). This new hub will be a place of life and passage, attracting a variety of cultural activities and audiences.
