Lean Construction & Notre-Dame de Paris: An Iconic Project Presented by setec opency

A key moment of knowledge sharing took place during the event organized by the French Building Federation (FFB), dedicated to Lean Construction. On this occasion, our colleague Quentin Guyon-Carrard presented the concrete implementation of our Lean approach on a truly exceptional project: the restoration of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.

A Major OPC Mission Led by setec opency

From the initial securing phases of the monument to the restoration work currently underway, setec opency has been handling a large-scale OPC (Scheduling, Steering, and Coordination) mission. This symbolic site demonstrates how Lean methods bring flow, anticipation, and collective performance to complex operations.

Lean Construction Serving a World Heritage Site

By applying Lean principles, our mission aims to optimize construction processes, foster collaboration between stakeholders, and reduce waste and inefficiencies, all while meeting the unique demands of such a prestigious heritage site.

An Inspiring Feedback Session

We would like to thank the FFB for providing this space for exchange, enriched by inspiring feedback from project owners and construction professionals. This moment shed light on the tangible benefits of Lean methods in the field—even on the most demanding sites.
