This is why document management is one of the key levers for controlling deadlines.
Our mission : To support the project owner in organizing the document flow and ensuring that they are properly validated within the scheduled time. The goal: to secure deadlines.
Our approach : As a project management consultancy (OPC), we are well-positioned to assist the project owner in this mission. We analyze their needs to select the most suitable Electronic Document Management (EDM) tool. Then, we define the exchange processes, train users on the tool, control the formalism of documents, and establish a dashboard to monitor compliance with deadlines up until their validation.
Our strength : Thanks to our experience as an OPC on large, complex projects, we are able to offer a comprehensive document management service, from choosing the best tool to the final management of all documents.
Even though the ‘Lean’ approach applied to project management has proven effective in reducing time and cost waste in projects and organizations, it is still not widely adopted. This is why Setec Opency offers support for ‘Lean Management’.
Our mission : To implement a ‘Lean’ continuous improvement approach with project owners, design managers, and contractors to optimize their production over time, regardless of the project.
Our approach : We provide an external, independent expert perspective on any type of project to establish an ‘Initial Diagnosis’ that identifies waste, dysfunctions, and proposes improvement opportunities. We also provide ‘Owner’s Representative Assistance,’ serve as ‘Lean Managers,’ or support the design manager to enhance project coordination. Additionally, we offer training modules on ‘Lean Management.’

Because the importance of the SCMC (Scheduling, Construction, Management and Coordination) role is not always well understood by construction stakeholders, we believe it is essential to offer enlightening training on the added value of these missions.
Our Mission: To provide training to design managers, architects and engineering firms, project owners, both public and private, as well as to our new employees, reaching approximately 200 people per year.
Our approach : For design managers, we offer the training “Keys to the Success of an SCMC Mission.” For project owners, we present “Fundamentals of the OPC Mission.” We also participate in 5 partner engineering schools: UTC, ESTP, ENTPE, Gustave Eiffel University, and ENISE. Our new employees receive training on three topics: time management, ‘Lean Management,’ and MS Project.
Our strength : We are the only SCMC company recognized as a ‘Training Organization.’ All our training sessions are conducted by our own staff.
Through the training division of the Order of Architects of Île-de-France and the Maison de l’Architecture in Île-de-France, we have trained around sixty architects and staff from engineering firms.
