The Greater Dax Urban Community has entrusted setec opency, part of a consortium led by the Ferret Architectures firm, with the mission of Scheduling, Management, and Coordination (OPC) for the construction of a multifunctional performance hall in Dax. This project, led by the Greater Dax region, aims to enhance the area’s attractiveness. This modern cultural infrastructure will host both performances and professional trade shows. Designed by Ferret Architectures, the future circular hall will accommodate up to 3,400 spectators. It will thus become a major facility for the local cultural and economic life.
The OPC mission of setec opency is organized into two key phases:
Design Phase: 2025–2027
Construction Phase: 2027–2029
As part of this mission, the setec opency team will be responsible for:
Scheduling the works by defining and monitoring the planning and organization of the site,
Assisting with the contracting of works,
Managing and coordinating execution studies and construction work.
To ensure smooth and collaborative planning, several Lean methodologies will be applied, such as geo-temporal planning.
True to its commitments under the “Engineers and Citizens” initiative of the group, setec opency will implement practices aimed at reducing nuisances, promoting short supply chains, and encouraging material reuse. Additionally, the coordination of the works will ensure the maintenance of traffic flow, safety, access to buildings, and urban services. setec opency will also pay particular attention to the cleanliness of the site and its surroundings, as well as to the responsible management of waste.
