Construction of the Luma Foundation for the Parc des Ateliers in Arles

Project

This project involves the construction of a cultural complex within the Parc des Ateliers, a former industrial site near UNESCO World Heritage sites.

The works include:

• Construction of a cultural building designed by architect Frank Gehry.
• Renovation of former SNCF industrial buildings by Selldorf Architects.
• Creation of a landscaped park by Bas Smets.

Luma Arles aims to become a landmark venue for Mediterranean cultural life, hosting exhibitions, events, conferences, and artist residencies.
