Development of the Cruise Terminal – Le Havre

Project

Historically a major embarkation site for transatlantic cruises at the Port of Le Havre, Pointe de Floride is undergoing a significant redevelopment and restructuring of its facilities.

Following a period of decline in transatlantic cruise activity, Pointe de Floride is being revitalized with new tourist routes to Northern Europe and the arrival of new cruise ships.

The project aims to:

  • Increase terminal capacity while strengthening the connection with the city of Le Havre.
  • Develop new high-quality reception areas in terminals designed to accommodate 13,500 passengers per day.
  • Create a green public promenade with panoramic views of the city at the heart of the block formed by the three buildings, enhancing the city-port linkage and encouraging cruise passengers to explore Le Havre.

Mission

For this project, Setec Opency, appointed by the Communauté Urbaine Le Havre Seine Métropole and HAROPA PORT, will act as both Scheduling, Construction Management and Coordination (SCMC).
