La Défense RER E station (EOLE)

Project

After years of work, Eole, the extension of the RER E to the west, opened to the public on Monday, May 6, 2024. We can now explore the three impressive new stations, including the La Défense station.

Located parallel to the major axis of the Esplanade de La Défense, the new facility is situated under the CNIT, more than 30 meters deep in the heart of the renowned business district. With its “cathedral” volume of 15 meters high, 108 meters long, and 33 meters wide, the structure is ready to welcome over 80,000 passengers per day, with connections to the RER A, lines L and J, as well as Metro Line 1 and Tram Line T2.

For this mission, setec opency participated in the Scheduling, Construction Management and Coordination (SCMC) mission during the design and construction phases of the developments.
