Restructuring of the Albert Kahn Museum and Gardens

Project

The renovation work at the Albert Kahn Museum, located in Boulogne-Billancourt, included the restoration of eight buildings and the construction of a new structure that houses an exhibition hall and a publicly accessible restaurant. This new building, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, aims to showcase Albert Kahn’s special relationship with Japan and also houses the extensive photographic collection known as the “Archives of the Planet.”

Mission

The architect and his firm were assisted by setec opency in carrying out the Scheduling, Construction Management and Coordination (SCMC) missions and managing the prorata account.
