The renovation work at the Albert Kahn Museum, located in Boulogne-Billancourt, included the restoration of eight buildings and the construction of a new structure that houses an exhibition hall and a publicly accessible restaurant. This new building, designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, aims to showcase Albert Kahn’s special relationship with Japan and also houses the extensive photographic collection known as the “Archives of the Planet.”
