The restructuring project of Roland Garros Airport’s terminal aims to expand the structure, renovate the baggage sorting system, and transform it into the first bioclimatic airport.
To achieve this, the facade is being redesigned with metal extensions on the exterior and a new framework inside. A new circulation axis is also created to direct passengers to the new arrival hall, and the airport extension includes the diversion of an adjacent street. The reception area will benefit from natural ventilation due to a redesign of the roof shape, which facilitates the capture of marine breezes from the area.
