From November 13 to 15, 2023, the Autodesk University event was held in Las Vegas, bringing together over 12,000 participants to discuss the latest innovations in architecture, engineering and construction.
Selected from over 2,700 projects, setec opency was present alongside Autodesk to lead a conference entitled “Improving master schedule of Notre-Dame de Paris reconstruction project”, presenting the tools used to control construction schedule on the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral restoration project.
Accompanied by Hervé Morellon and Ludovic Fournier, our employees Yvan Rouard, Director of the Building Division, and Théo Romeyer, SCMC (scheduling, construction management and coordination) pilot on the Notre-Dame project, were on hand to lead this conference. setec opency and Autodesk were able to present the approach and tools used to optimize planning, reinforce safety and communicate on the phasing of the works, thanks to digital tools such as BIM 4D developed with Autodesk consulting. The time dimension added to the digital mock-up improves collaboration between the many players involved in the project, reduces errors, and thus minimizes costs and deadlines.
A highly enriching experience, and a good way of promoting made-in setec know-how across the Atlantic.
