setec opency at the Heart of Construction Life on the Loubet Site!

Two weeks ago, the workers on the Loubet construction site gathered for a convivial moment around a tradition deeply rooted in the construction world: the gigot bitume! This is no ordinary meal—the leg of lamb is slow-cooked directly in hot asphalt, in the purest tradition of French construction sites. A warm and festive event that brought teams together around simple yet essential values: mutual support, camaraderie, and the joy of being together on site.

The event was organized by the Prorata team at setec opency, who are responsible for the setup and management of the site’s shared facilities (setec opency is also in charge of the scheduling and coordination [OPC and inter-site OPC] missions on this project).

A more strategic challenge also awaited our teams: relocating the site’s base camp, which is now positioned along Avenue Émile Loubet. This move, coordinated by setec opency, helps anticipate the upcoming phases of the project while maintaining optimal working conditions for the more than 150 workers involved in the restructuring of the Loubet building.

This change paves the way for the redevelopment of Place Sainte-Barbe, scheduled to begin in July 2025. By then, the tower crane will have been dismantled, fully clearing the 2,800 m² that will become a green, calm, and open public space at the heart of the neighborhood.

A project making great progress, tightly knit teams, and enduring traditions—these are the key ingredients making Loubet a true collective success!
