Start of the IDEAL Project !

The construction site for the IDEAL project kicked off a few days ago with a decisive demolition operation carried out by Premys (COLAS) on the Guard Room building at the Armand-Trousseau Hospital, part of the APHP Sorbonne University hospital group. This initial step marks the beginning of an ambitious project aimed at transforming the hospital to house, by 2027, the largest child psychiatry department in Europe.

AP-HP has launched an ambitious initiative with the construction of the Institute for Developmental Pathologies of Children and Adolescents (IDEAL) on the Armand-Trousseau Hospital site in Paris. This future European reference center will bring together expertise in neurology, pediatrics, and child psychiatry while incorporating technological and clinical research innovations to meet the needs of patients and their families.
