On Friday morning, setec opency was on hand to witness the 1st delivery of stone by river to the Notre-Dame de Paris restoration site.

This operation is the culmination of several weeks of studies and fine-tuning of logistics organization in close collaboration with the adequacy unit.

From quarries in the Oise region and then brought up the Seine from Gennevilliers, nearly 15 tonnes of stone were hauled from the barge to the site. They will be used to rebuild the four arches of the transepts, right in the heart of the cathedral, exactly where the spire collapsed.
