The Marengo Multimodal Transport Hub (PEM) Near Matabiau Station in Toulouse is Taking Shape!

Designed by the BIG architecture firm (lead architect) in collaboration with A+ Architecture, this major intermodal facility will address the significant increase in passenger traffic expected by 2030, enhancing the attractiveness of the Toulouse metropolitan area.

The future Matabiau station in Toulouse will serve as the regional transportation hub, connecting metro lines A and the upcoming line C, the future Bordeaux-Toulouse high-speed rail (LGV), as well as public transportation and soft mobility options.

The “Grand Matabiau, quais d’OC” project supports this expansion across 135 hectares surrounding the station. The Marengo PEM, led by the Occitanie region and SPL Europolia/ARAC Occitanie, will feature a transport hall, an office building, and a bike station with a capacity for 1,000 bicycles.

Setec Opency has been commissioned by SPL Europolia / SPL ARAC Occitanie and the Occitanie region to carry out the site management mission (OPC), from the study phase through to the completion of the works.
